Aurora's Christmas Disco

We had fun creating our JibJab Disco Christmas and then Aurora enjoyed dancing to it afterward. I think this girl has rhythm, I love her!

Aurora sings Nephi's Courage

I do believe that Aurora is loving all the attention she gets from singing. Her aunts, uncles, cousins & grandparents all ask her to sing her two songs over and over again, we've got to add some more to her repertoire.
I too think she is incredibly adorable and talented. My favorite is when she hits her high notes. Watch her face when she sings "do". I love this girl.

Seth's Birthday!

We had a fun time at Fuddruckers for Family Night. We love enjoying all the freebies you get for your birthday. Seth had a burrito from Rubios for lunch and a burger from Fuddruckers today, all free! We are still looking forward to Baskin Robbins, Tucanos, Del Taco & IHOP!

Joaquin had fun playing with his fishing pole when we got home.
The guy asked what he wanted and Enrique requested a fire breathing dragon complete with wings. I was a little worried that he had asked for too much, but the balloon guy was an artist and created this amazing thing. The kids were completely mesmerized during the entire process. I have to admit that Seth and I were pretty captivated too. I think we'll be back.
Aurora loves her balloon flower!
We love Seth and are happy to celebrate another year with him. He was very fortunate to get a gift card to IN&OUT as well as the Last Airbender and an Orange (his favorite).
We celebrated Seth's birthday at our home with all the Granados'
Luscious Pumpkin Layer cake & Chocolate Peanut Banana Cake

Aurora sings the Temple song

Whenever we drive back from Orem, the kids like to see who can see our temple first. The winner starts us singing "I love to See the Temple". Enrique started this tradition and just from the car rides, Aurora has learned the song. This is the first time she's sung it all the way threw by herself with no help. I love her!

October is over

Seth was off for about a week in October and decided it was finally time for Rique to ride his bike that he got for his birthday in February. It was the quickest thing I ever saw. Rique sat down, Seth gave him a push and Rique rode his bike. This video was taken minutes after he learned to ride his bike. Go Rique!

Happy Easter

This was a rushed picture, not smart with 3 kids. But necessary since we were double parked and late for my reunion.
Joaquin and Alina posing in their sweet Easter outfits. I love how they're holding onto each other, almost comfortingly.

Pretty in Pink
My mom has become quite the child's fashion designer. We love and look forward to all the outfits and costumes she creates for the kids. This year's Easter dress was pink with white polka dots, yellow ribbon and white daises. Complete with hat, I looked forward to my Easter hat as a little girl, its fun to see Rora in her's now.
With the mission reunion, weather and conference, I wasn't sure when or if we'd do an egg hunt this year. Jarom and Roxsana invited us over for one at the house with the cousins. I think we had over 70 eggs all of them were found with in a 15 minute period. Lots of fun! Good thing we didn't wait for Easter Sunday, we woke up to snow that morning.

Although it was a busy weekend, we were able to still get together with some of the family for Easter lunch. The Padillas, Gaitans along with Lehi and Jayden joined us for Ham and all the trimmings. We love funeral potatoes!
Lehi chose to sit at the kiddy table.
Rora on the hunt. Luckily she became quite good at hunting for colored eggs this week with the girls I watch. They've been hiding and finding them through out the house all week.
Just before the hunt

Black & White

My camera takes B&W photos, who knew? It probably can do a lot more than I use it for, I need to find the manual and put it to use. Enrique's eyes are so handsome, Joaquin looks a little out of it.
Our "Bonita"

Dress up!

Grandma made this dress for Aurora to wear at Disneyland when she was 4 months old. Grandma either made it big or she was a real chunker, because, aside from being a little short, it fits just right.

The crown, slippers and wand were from Santa.

Enrique is such a little gentleman. I love to see how he finds so much joy in his siblings happiness. He was excited for Aurora to play dress up and he loves to make his brother laugh.
Enrique is the best big brother!

Tah Dah
We love you Grandma!

"I do Momma!"

Aurora's new phrase is "I do, Momma!"
This is used all the time all day, during diaper changing (hers or Joaquin's), meal times, bath times, etc.

Aurora and Brooklyn prefer their babies without clothes so its easier to diaper them, luckily their baby dolls wear Luvs size 4 just like them.

Grandma Sandoval's Peanut Butter Cookies

We tried to make PB Cookies like Grandma Sandoval, but they just wouldn't turn out, or come off the cookie sheet, I think we might have needed more flour for the altitude.
Here is Aurora taking her turn, Enrique waiting patiently (kinda.)

Rique's turn, Aurora is not ready to give up her turn.
Notice how Enrique has distanced himself and the bowl from Aurora as she lunges across the table. He holds the bowl protectively just in case she reaches him.
Not the most happy kids, but learning to take turns in not always a fun thing.

Alina's Visit

Alina and Joaquin are growing fast.

These pictures were taken upside down while they were laying on their backs.

Aurora and Enrique wanted to be part of the picture fun.
Look at the Bonita's grin!

We love when our cousins come to visit us. Thank you Alina!

Fun with Kids

Its a little frightening how much Aurora actually looks like Enrique.
Don't our three men look amazingly alike? We got this photo of Enrique from a friend's birthday party he went to. Joaquin is wearing a cute little beanie a friend made for him. This picture makes me laugh every time I see it.

Joaquin's Laugh

I thought nothing could be better than his sweet smile, now I wonder if anything can beat his laugh. I love these boys. Joaquin tends to steal the show here, but be sure to appreciate the loving smile and excitement his older brother shows too.

Cookie Making

Enrique had strep throat and had to be quarantined to his bedroom all weekend, and then some. He was so bored and requested that we make cookies when he was all better. Here they are.
Enrique did all the mixing, all from the cookbook from Grandma Sandoval. The recipe was super simple just flour, sugar, margarine and an egg (which he promptly ran over to borrow next door when I said we were out.)

They kept everything pretty clean too.

The cookies turned out really cool and quite yummy. There are no after cookies because they got eaten too quickly. I guess that means we'll have to make them again soon.

Fun in a Blanket

This is an obvious Papa activity, swinging 3 month old in blanket with 6 year old with 20 month old hanging on. And like all Papa activities, this too was very fun and successful. Thank you Papa.

Random Kid Stuff

We played hulabaloo for almost an hour. It was fun.
Say "Cheese"
"Be reverent for the prayer."
I guess it wasn't very reverent of my to take this picture, but I couldn't resist.

Dear Grandma, we love our fleece pajamas. Hint Hint:)
All snug in his spiderman super hero suit and ready to go, yawn.

Joaquin on Sky Blanket

His fuzz on his head sticks straight up.

Getting stronger everyday.
You try laying on your tummy and holding your head up, excellent workout.

Old man forehead

Rosy red cheeks
He has a birthmark on his lower right cheek.

We love you Joaquin!
