Seth called in the middle of the day and suggested we drive the Alpine Loop when he came home from work. A customer told him if we go later we might miss the red trees. It was beautiful, thank you, Seth.
Aurora fell asleep before we left our driveway, but woke up for the last few turns of our drive.
Rique stayed awake and enjoyed his trip.
I bathed and pajamaed the kids before our drive so all they had to do was brush their teeth and sleep when we got home, even though we made it home well before bedtime.
Last year we went to JCW's for dinner afterward, so we did it again this year. I think it'll become a tradition.
The red trees were gorgeous.
There were so many pictures we wanted to take, but couldn't stop to take them.
These were all taken from the car, because there is no way this 9 month pregnant woman was getting out for a picture.
