We drove down to San Diego to visit Matt and Emily. Dad started the BBQ off by slicing his finger. This is him elevating it to slow the bleeding.
This is a picture of the empty bowl of Ranch Doritos and the little boy who finished them off single handedly.

Aurora loved climbing into this chair all by herself. I was lucky to find one pretty much identical to it at the thrift store today for 90 cents, so the fun can continue back home.

Not surprising, Aurora loved playing with Emily's glasses. Emily was so great to help with Aurora and which let me enjoy my meal in piece.

Uncle Matthew took us sailing in the late afternoon. Its neat to see him in his element.
Aurora loudly protested to wearing a life vest and sitting in one place, so Grandma graciously stayed with her in the cabin below and let me sit up on deck so I wouldn't get sick. Thankfully I didn't get sick at all.

This was our attempt at the beginning to get Aurora to sail up on deck. She didn't like it.

Rique and Grandpa loved sailing.

Aurora showed her appreciation to Grandma for taking care of her by consenting to join us on deck at the end of our trip.
